Your AI is responding, but the answers are wrong, incomplete, or not aligned with your content.
This usually comes down to data quality, missing context, or prompt settings.
1. Check your data quality #
What to look for
- Outdated or incorrect content
- Missing details
- Conflicting information
Fix:
- Update your files, URLs, or Q&A
- Remove incorrect data
- Click Refresh Agent
2. Add precise answers using Q&A #
When AI is inconsistent
Fix:
- Go to Data Source → Q&A
- Add exact questions and answers
This ensures that the AI gives the correct response every time.
3. Use Corrections #
For quick fixes
- Go to Corrections
- Find the incorrect response
- Click Create Correction
- Add the correct answer
This improves future responses instantly.
4. Improve your content structure #
Problem
- AI struggles to understand messy or unstructured documents
Fix:
- Use clear headings
- Keep content structured
- Avoid duplicated or scattered info
5. Check your Prompt #
Go to: AI Model Settings → Prompt
If your prompt is:
- Too vague → AI may guess
- Too restrictive → AI may skip answers
Fix:
- Keep it clear and balanced
- Example:
“Answer from the provided data. If unsure, ask for clarification.”
6. Increase Context Length #
Problem
- AI misses connections between messages
Fix:
- Set Context Length → Comprehensive
7. Re-crawl or retrain data #
If using website URLs
- Content may be outdated
Fix:
- Click Re-crawl
- Click Refresh Agent
8. Model may be too lightweight #
Problem
- Low-cost models may give less accurate answers
Fix:
- Switch to a higher-quality model in AI Model Settings
Quick checklist #
- Data is accurate and updated
- Q&A added for critical answers
- Corrections applied
- Prompt is clear
- Context is sufficient
Tip #
Test in Preview with real user questions and refine based on responses.
Next, review one incorrect answer and fix it using Corrections or Q&A.
