Zoho Sprints Integration

2 min read

The Zoho Sprints integration allows you to connect your Zoho account with HighEngage, enabling leads and inquiries captured through your AI agent to automatically create tasks in your Zoho Sprints projects. This helps your product and support teams track and act on incoming work without manual data entry.

Before You Begin #

Ensure you have:

  • An active HighEngage account.
  • A Zoho account with access to a Zoho Sprints team and project.

Connecting Zoho Sprints #

  1. Log in to your HighEngage account.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Integrations.
  3. Locate Zoho Sprints and click Connect.
  1. You will be redirected to the Zoho sign-in page.
  1. Enter the email address associated with your Zoho account and click Next.
  2. Choose how you’d like to sign in, using your password or an email OTP.
  1. Complete sign-in with your chosen method.
  2. Zoho will display the permissions HighEngage is requesting for Zoho Sprints. Review the requested access and click Accept to authorize.
  1. After authorization, you will be redirected back to HighEngage.
  2. The integration status will change to Connected, confirming that your Zoho account has been linked successfully.

Your Zoho Sprints account is now successfully connected. To enable it for your agent, follow the steps below:

11. View your agent from dashboard, click edit.

    12. Go to actions and view Zoho Sprints.

      13. Click Zoho Sprints and enable the toggle button.

        14. Click projects and choose your project.

          15. Click save.

Zoho Sprints integration is now enabled for your agent.

            How It Works #

            1. A visitor interacts with your AI agent on your website.
            2. If the visitor requests human assistance or chooses to raise a support ticket, the AI agent displays the Support Form.
            3. The visitor enters their email address and issue description, then submits the form.
            1. HighEngage captures the support request and triggers the Create Sprint Item in Zoho Sprints action.
            2. The request is automatically sent to your connected Zoho Sprints workspace.
            3. A new Backlog Item is created in the selected Zoho Sprints project, using the customer’s issue as the work item.
            1. Your team can review, prioritize, assign, and move the backlog item into an active sprint to track and resolve the issue.
            2. Every support request raised through Human Handover or Raise Ticket is automatically logged in Zoho Sprints, ensuring no customer issue is missed.

            Verifying the Connection #

            Once connected:

            • The Zoho Sprints card in Settings → Integrations will display Connected.
            • The Connect button will change to Revoke.
            • New leads and inquiries captured by HighEngage will automatically create tasks in your connected Zoho Sprints project.

For example, a project such as the one below is automatically populated with work items created by HighEngage.

            Revoking the Integration #

If you no longer wish to use Zoho Sprints with HighEngage:

            1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations.
            2. Locate the Zoho Sprints integration.
            3. Click Revoke.

            Once revoked:

            • HighEngage will no longer create tasks in Zoho Sprints.
            • Previously created work items will remain in Zoho Sprints.
            • Task creation will resume only after reconnecting the integration.

            Troubleshooting #

            1. Unable to connect
            • Ensure you are using the correct Zoho account.
            • Verify that your account has permission to authorize integrations for your Zoho Sprints team.
            • Try signing out and signing back into Zoho.

            2. Authorization is rejected or cancelled

            • Ensure you click Accept, not Reject, on the permissions screen.
            • Reconnect the integration and try the sign-in flow again.

            3. Connection lost

If the authorization expires or is revoked:

            • Go to Settings → Integrations.
            • Click Connect to authorize your Zoho account again.

            Benefits #

            • Automatically create tasks in Zoho Sprints from HighEngage.
            • Eliminate manual task entry and reduce errors.
            • Keep your Sprints board updated with new work items in real time.
            • Enable faster follow-ups by your product and support teams.
